This is a level 1 quest you receive after you find both of the sewer entrances to Deathfyst Citadel then hail the Glademaster. It's the final step in the Operation Greenhood quest (which, in my opinion, should be listed under Access Quests in the journal because it gives you access to Deathfyst Citadel).
If you give him the key he gives you a quest reward of the choice of one of severeal weapons (Shureshot bow and Mammoth being a couple of them) but no exp (it is, after all, a level 1 quest). Glademaster Valwood of the Green hoods has sent me into the mine pit of the Vallon Foundry to disrupt their operations. I must taint the arcane smelting pots of the orcs with a special druidic mixture given to me by the greenhoods. The smelting pots look like upturned giant orc heads. They look very cool.
- Inspect the smelting pot of Gurkis (+396, -119, -159). This is down the tunnel direcly South of the base of the elevator shaft.
- Inspect the smelting pot of Horkul (+245, -122, -120) This is down the tunnel to the East of the elevator shaft base.
- inspect the smelting pot of Ikuris (+361, -125, -43) This is down the tunnel to West of the Entrance.
I must search the mines for Dwarven mining picks. They must be carried by whatever orc toils with such a tool - Vallon Miners. These drop fairly regularly. I got four (4) picks after killing nine (9) miners.
I must slay Nixam Dugdiggle and his familiar. go up the ramp to the first landing. From there, find the second ramp and climb it to the top landing. Work your way around the landing to the far tunnel. The tunnel branches off. Take the branch to the right. There are four vallon quarry elite there. "invader, you'll not get out of my foundry alive Krig Stonestance Level 36 heroic ^^ This is another fun fight with some good prizes.
This quest is needed to gain the trust of the greenhoods. (Let's face it your a hard eyed stone cold killer) You need to complete it if you want them to trust you enough to give you the Operation Greenhood heritage quest. This is a level 30 hallmark quest. It is easily soloable at level 40. The sentries in the mind drop a lot of chests. Here are some sample items dropped in the chests and their sales value at your advanced tradeskill instance..... - vallon miner gloves (mit 93, buffs +60 buffs) 52s, 80c - vallon miner shoulder pads (light armor, mit 139, +60 buffs) 57s, 60c - vallon miner skullscap (light armor, mit 93, +60 buffs) 57s, 60c - woven etched boots (light armor, mit 85) 48s (by Bystander, Order of the Ravenclaw, Najena Server)

Quest: Hallmark: Operation Green Hood (30lvl) add / see comments | submit help info
This is the quest to gain entrance to Deathfist Citadel. He will send you to the Green Hood Trapper Master, who wants 4 pieces of a map. You can get this from any orc i believe. I got it from solo orcs just outside the Dock area. Then talk to shadow, who sends you to the Glademaster. The Glade master will have several tasks for you.He asks you to kill: 6 Vallon Grunts 2 Vallon Loaders 4 Vallon Builders Gurk Strongarm They can be found at the Mill. After that he gives you another quest you must finish to be able to continue this one. That is call Dissrupting the Faundry. After completing that he will send you to talk to Tork at the Orc Stockade. Be ware that the second door you pass to get there will spawn 4 orcs that needs to be killed or run off. Tork sends you to the lookout point, where u must inspect a small box on the ground. Last thing to do is find the 2 grates in the moat in Deathfist Citadel. To get there do NOT go over the bridge, but around the river. You can enter the moat to the left of the gate to the Citadel. A good plan is to evac or call once you have found the two grates. Reward for completing these two quests are a weapon supposedly suited for your class and access to Deathfist Citadel. The scout bow is by far the best of them. (by Rimi, Faydark)

8) Visit the Ring of Amatra (Destroyed Druid Ring #10).
9) Visit the Secret Meeting (Sentinel Stones #12).
10) Visit the Altar of Four Cannons (#6).
11) Visit the Ruins of Rallos (Tower of Vul #13).
12) Visit the Stone Gullet (Gulch of Thule, near -1,172, 775, it is in a stream that flows into the mountainside. Follow it under the mountain to get update).
13) Visit the two intact Hands of Thule. There are many broken hand monuments, there are only two that are whole: - First Intact Hand (-618, 580, at the south end of the lake). - Second Intact Hand is #19 on the map, near Cynthan.
14) Return to Hoggle Bogstrutter in Zek K00 for reward.
Reward is 6g 8s 9c and about 5%xp at lvl 37 (rough guess on xp, didn't watch the update), and Bogstrutter Runners. Boot stats: +6 Sta +7 Agi +13 Health +19 Power +180 Magic +120 Mental Light Armor (140 Req'd). He also offers you a lvl 46 quest "The Lost Idols of Modinthule", which I haven't done, but appears to be done in the Temple of Cazic Thule.
I did the quest as lvl 37 Conjuror invis most of the time to avoid aggro. See invis mobs near the Temple of Cazic Thule, but otherwise easy to move around. (by Oopsi Diditagain, Grobb)

1. Find the clasp This is a random drop from killing orcs. Just kill orcs until your quest log updates 2. Harvest some fodder You will need to be able to gather tier 4 resources for this part. I think gathering on zek is 140 or 141 skill in gathering needed. Gather successfully from 20 flat bed thistle nodes and your quest log will update 3. Scout Refuge. Head for -50, 210 on the map but your quest journal will probably update before you hit this spot. Just stick to the edges of the areas to avoid agro. 4. Speak with Division Supplier Gaertarn again

Quest: Access Quest: The Crossing of the Fanged Sea (40lvl) add / see comments | submit help info
I figured since logging in for at least three days due to zero vitality and 12% XP debt, I could jot down my experiences attempting to complete the Everfrost access quest, otherwise known as "The Crossing of the Fanged Sea" quest given by Rath'Adran in Zek, the Orcish Wastes. Everfrost access occurs gratis at level 42, but many elect to do the boatride for earlier icy goodness. Many higher level players do this quest simply to eliminate it from their hallmark quests section of their quest journals since these cannot be deleted. This quest, as noted on other websites dedicated to questing, has two subquests which must be accomplished prior to hopping on the boat. The first is "Of Sea, Sails, and Slumber," given by Biddy Bobick at the Enchanted Lands docks, and the second is "Tinmizer's Astounding Frost Disruptor" given by Rath'Adran when you've completed the first sub-quest. The details of the subquests are beyond the scope of this post, however I will say that there is a part of "Tinmizer's Astounding Frost Disruptor" that normally requires a 40ish tank to accomplish that you can skip.
Rath'Adran tells you to go to the Tower of Drafling to find out about the parts for the Frost Disruptor. The fight to the Drafling tower in Rivervale is exceedingy painful for a group in the mid-to-upper 30's, so simply going to the locations where these items are will update the quest without ever having to step foot in that hairy part of Rivervale. The first part can be found in the southermost buidling at Tagglefoot Farms in Enchanted Lands. The second piece is in Zek. Rather than give a loc, I'll describe how to get there: Follow the road from the docks toward Deathfist Citadel. As you approach the Sullon mill, you will be forced to cross two gates in the road. If you take a sharp left after crossing the first gate, you will end up in a narrow valley full of bears and orcs. At the end of the valley is a small orc fort with several orcs and buildings inside. The second part of Tinmizer's Frost Disruptor is in the building furthest to the rear and to the right. Once these two pieces are acquired, Rath'Adran gives you some dialogue and then suggests you get your crew together for the Crossing of the Fanged Sea. The bell to Everfrost is opposite of the Thundering Steppes bell in Zek, on the far dock. This is where it gets fun. I do not know what to recommend for group makeup, other than that your tank should be formidible. Your tank will be the lynchpin on this trip. My recommended setup is as follows: One tank, as high as you can get, two healers, one scout, two elective classes. One healer of sufficient skill or level can replace two lesser healers, but the high level tank and scout are crucial. In my case, this was attempted with: 47 Berserker 36 Templar 36 Fury 36 Guardian 36 Monk 38 Dirge When the group clicks into "The Fanged Sea," it will find itself on a boat just like every other boat ride since the tutorial. The first difference that you'll see is one of Tinmizer's Frost Disruptors at each end of the boat. Rath'Adran is captaining the vessel. **Note** This encounter is buggy. Of the four times I've done it, two failed due to bugs in the script or due to a mob falling off the boat. More on that later. Tinmizer's Frost Disruptors are there for a reason. They prevent Frost Frights from spawning. A Frost Fight is a level 40ish (no ^ or ^^) ice skeleton that has a pretty big aggro range and *loves* healers. It is critical to have two people pre-designated to operate these devices. Our strategy was to have the scout sneak/hide at the bow of the ship (on the bowsprit actually) as far from mob spawns as possible and yet able to operate the Tinmizer device there. Everyone else congregated as far back on the poop deck as possible. Once Rath'Adran is hailed, the encounter will begin. **IMPORTANT** From this point on, the Tinmizer devices must be operating at all times. They must be started, and maintained every minute, after which a particle effect will surround it and it will frost over, becoming inoperable. As soon as this happens, it must be right clicked and "Wipe away frost" must be selected. Five seconds later, a new option will appear to "Restart the device." This must be done, or a new wave of skeletons will pop and aggro on the party. Periodically, the device should also be clicked on and the "wind" option should be selected. In truth, even if skeletons spawn, they won't aggro on the party if it is flush back against the back of the ship. The problem here is that multiple waves of skeletons can (and do) spawn on top of each other, so that by the time the boat ride is into it's 10th minute, what appears to be four skeletons may actually be 16 or more. If anyone moves out of position even slightly, all of these will decend upon the party and probably slay the healers. Soon after the encounter begins, Sky Marshall Brynhild will spawn on the deck and confront Rath'Adran. She will tell him to turn the ship around, and he'll refuse. A fight will ensure in which Rath'Adran kills the Sky Marshall. Waves of Valkyries will begin spawning, some at the bow and some at the stern. The party only needs to be concerned about the rear Valkyries now, and they should be killed as quickly as possible. The main tank should remain pressed against the aft bulkhead and continue killing aggroing skeletons and Valkyries until Rath'Adran leaves the wheel of the ship and walks down to the main mast. Once he's there he will transform into a level 42 ^^^ dragon. RIGHT NOW HE IS NON-AGGRO. Don't worry about him. If you have done things right, your scout is still invisible at the front of the boat happilly cranking on his Tinmizer device. There will also be an assload of skeletons at and Valkyries on the front half of the ship and a big black dragon on the main deck. At this point, the tank will begin clearing all of the valkyries and skeletons that have not been dealth with, leaving the dragon for last. These should be pulled via ranged weapon to the poop deck, obviously. When all are dead, the dragon should remain solo on the main deck. Some things to consider: Crafted weapons will not hit the dragon. I do not know if Heritage weapons will. I attempted to hit the dragon with Pristine Conditioned Oak Fighting Batons, a Pristine Conditioned Oak Bo Staff, a Deathfist Utility Prod, and each of these were useless. Most of my non-fist or kick combat arts returned the message "Target is too powerful." My bare fist seemed to hit OK. The dragon itself is not terribly difficult, but it IS very much an endurance fight. Tinmizer's devices must continue to be maintained or skeletons will add during dragon fight. I cannot stress how important keeping on top of this is for the success of the group. The group's objective is to get the dragon down to 20% health, at which point it will give up and fly away. Since the mob does not die to grant experience or loot, and especially because this is an endurance fight, it is best to /yell as soon as the dragon is pulled to ensure the group is fighting with maximum health and power regeneration. In addition the dragon's primary attack, it does have an AE breath weapon which our primarily level 36 group found to be more a nuisance than an outright threat. One healer claimed the AE mana-drained her, but nobody else in the group observed this behavior. Assuming the group is able to lower the dragon's health to 20%, the encounter is over and congratulations are in order. The group has just successfully finished a very difficult encounter and gained access to one of the coolest zones in the game!

Ps. With the last major patch, this encounter was nerfed to triviality. The dragon now spawns as a 42^^ instead of a ^^^, and in addition, many of bugs have been worked out. We made several erros on the Tinmizer devices on our last run and only managed to spawn skeletons once. Any solid group of 35’s can do this boatride now.

After finishing the first two quests he gives you, Hammer now wants you to locate the plunder chests from the sites you scouted. All you have to do is find them and inspect them. Reward: Another piece of the Emerald Hide Set and 13 silver, 72 copper.
1) Western catapult chest is behind some rocks near the catapult.
2) Eastern catapult chest is behind some rocks behind the catapult.
3) Ruined tower chest is in the barn but I noticed that it was difficult to see the chest at certain angles; I found the best way to see it was to stand at the entrance and slowly move forward until you could inspect it. [/loc 219.06 -40.26 202.14 orientation 18.25, 0.00, 0.00 to see the chest. Make sure your orientation is correct at loc.]
4) Grove of stones chest is behind a large rock on the far side of the grove.
5) Q.S.S. Ebon Strongbear chest is on the western portion of the ship.

Hammer now wants you to disrupt the mining operations of the Vallon orcs nearby in the Blood Ore Vally. You need to kill 10 Vallon miners to finish it. Reward: Another piece of the Emerald Hide Set and 14 silver, 87 copper. Emerald Hide Set: (all light armor) Boots: 5 sta, 6 agi, 19 health, 21 power, 67 cold, 168 magic, 134 mental Bracers: 3 int, 8 str, 20 health, 20 power, 67 cold, 168 divine, 134 poison Cap: 7 int, 4 wis, 23 health, 17 power, 67 cold, 134 divine, 168 mental Gloves: 7 agi, 4 wis, 19 health, 21 power, 67 cold, 134 disease, 168 heat Pants: 6 int, 5 str, 15 health, 25 power, 168 cold, 202 poison Shoulderpads: 5 sta, 6 wis, 20 health, 20 power, 202 cold, 168 heat Tunic: 5 agi, 6 str, 19 health, 21 power, 101 cold, 134 disease, 134 magic.
The only solo miners that show up are one by the bridge down to the elevator and one at the bottom of the elevator. The rest are group mobs (level 32).

Quest: Heritage: The Journey is Half the Fun - Zek (30lvl) add / see comments | submit help info
Point 1: Grove Stones. Run Northeast from the outpost and up through the Easternmost of the two North valleys, then turn right. You only need to swing by 40-50 feet to the North of the druid ring to get the update.
Point 2: Charred Vale. Run around the zone counter-clockwise, following the blue line. The update is in the charred area past the second gate and over the hill. You'll likely pick up snake and/or tree aggro during this checkpoint, but it's easily shaken. Just don't stop! You only need to step a couple feet into the soot to get the update, then jet due west toward the Lookout Tower. Avoid the orc gates' spawns by running over the rocks to the left at the first one and up the leftmost leaning post at the second.
Point 3: Deathfist Lookout. Run due West, then veer north to the lookout rock. Try to avoid picking up lion aggro near the base; they can be a pain when running back down. The update is at the very top of the spire.
Point 4: Zek Bridge. Run down the spire and East around the wall to the bridge. DO NOT RUN ACROSS THE BRIDGE! Run about 5 feet onto it to get the update.
Point 5: Deathfist citadel. Splash across the pond between the aggro radii of the two orc guards. Fish will likely spot and chase you, but ignore them and keep running. Run along the sand after skirting the orc and pop out into deathfist valley to the left of the bridge. Turn left and hug the wall until you get to the other side of the first orc spawn battlements, then run to the road. The update is a little West of the skulls-on-sticks.
Point 6: Spirit Lake. Sprint back to the Bridge and then to the right of it, running over the sand. Any Citadel aggro you picked up will give up quickly. Avoid the solo orc guards again and splash through the water. The fish will probably reaggro, but ignore them. TIP: You can run over the top of the rock wall directly south of the pond's West section. Look at the orange line for a clear picture of what I mean. Run directly to the second orc gate, ignoring any aggro you pick up. DO NOT RUN BACK THROUGH THE GATE! Run to the East side of it and jump your way up the rock wall and over the fence. If you don't get over the fence quickly, aggro might catch you. It can be tricky if you've never done it before. You can also get over the West side, but for me the East wall is easier. >From there, retrace your steps and head to the spiral lake under the 6 on the map. Remember to jump over the stones to the right of the second gate. The Spiral Lake update will trigger when you get within 15-20 feet of it. Don't touch the water or yet another surprise pop will trigger and chase you.

Quest starter is a drop named Blood ore Bracer, drops from Siren's, upon examining it you get a quest to repair it.
1. Kill Waste Grawler's to get 10 claws, these are found in the "50 Captive Thicket".
2. Examine bracer again, you now need to find some blood ore, head to the mine in "12 Blood Ore Valley". When you get down the mine shaft head up the spiral path and head right, you should be able to interact with the mine cart there.
3. examine bracer and start your final step, kill 25 Orc's (any should do). Gratz on your new Bracer =)
